Crowds are not simply numbers to manage. They are people making decisions in a particular environment, influenced by information, design, emotion and the actions of others.
Our approach connects the evidence of crowd science with the realities of planning and live operations, helping teams make proportionate, practical decisions.

ABOUT
Crowd Consulting was founded by Dr Aimee Eriksen, a crowd specialist, event safety professional and researcher with a PhD in Crowd Operations and 16 years’ experience managing operations at major events.
Alongside her consultancy work, Dr Eriksen is an Associate Lecturer in Event Safety at Manchester Metropolitan University. Her work brings together research, crowd behaviour and the realities of planning and live event delivery. Having worked across major sporting events and complex operational environments, Aimee focuses on translating evidence into clear, usable advice for the people making decisions.
Crowd Consulting is designed to be collaborative: drawing on specialist partners and associates where a project benefits from additional expertise.
